A unique, Customer - dedicated event. This annual event is held at LCBO store #495 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. We anticipate an enthusiastic customer turnout. Wineries will feature multiple styles of Riesling, from dry and off-dry. Trophies will be awarded for the winner in each of the two categories, dry and off-dry. Participating customers will pay $10.00 admission fee. This gets them four tasting tickets. Participating Wineries are: Angels Gate Winery, Calamus Estate Winery, Cave Spring Cellars, Coffin Ridge Vineyard & Winery, Cooper’s Hawk Vineyards, Featherstone Estate Winery, Flat Rock Cellars, The Foreign Affair Winery, The Good Earth Food and Wine Co., GreenLane Estate Winery, Rosewood Estates Winery, Sue-Ann Staff Estate Winery, 13th Street Winery, 2027 Cellars. Local food purveyors will provide artisanal breads, water and coffee etc. (Cassoulet Catering, Killer Cupcakes, Planet Bean and Quican Inc.) Participating consumer will also receive a bracelet, which symbolize hope; one country reaching out to another and both transformed by the experience. Bracelet of Hope is an example of international cooperation, a project aimed to assist Lesotho in overcoming its AIDS pandemic. Dr. Anne-Marie Zajdlik, recipient of the Order of Ontario, an HIV physician in Guelph, Ontario co-ordinates the Bracelet of Hope project . In 2005, she founded and now directs the Masai Centre for Local, Regional and Global Health, in response to the growing numbers of HIV/AIDS patients in the Guelph area. She is a regional HIV specialist. The collected admission goes directly to Bracelet of Hope (formerly Masai for Africa).
