The fruit for this Cabernet Franc is sourced exclusively from the Redstone Estate vineyard, planted in 2010 in a high-density, low-yielding 6 acre block. This wine spent 16 months in new and neutral French Oak barrels. The nose is ripe with cherry and blackcurrants. Savoury hints of earthy beets and root vegetables, dried herbs and notes of dusty gravel. The tannins are strong but will soften over time and give structure to this medium bodied wine.
